Friday Teen Acting

Ages 14-18 

12:00-1:30 P.M.

This class is designed to go deeper into the exploration of skills and resources taught in the MHP Senior class and may be taken multiple years. It can be taken in addition to the Tuesday class, or as an a la carte class.  We will branch out into more specific training which includes exercises in improvisation, voice, and focus warm-ups, character exercises, dramatic and comedic scene-based activities, monologues, as well as duo, group and experimental scenes.   Like the Tuesday class, we will: Keep a journal; try to attend at least one outside theatrical performance and prepare a class presentation. 

TUITION & REGISTRATION FEE FOR TEEN ACTING:

A registration fee of $50 per student is due at the time of registration. Registration fees are non-refundable.

BILLING INFORMATION:

MHP Tuition is an annual fee, based on a minimum of 33 classes or lessons per year divided into 10 equal monthly installments, payable September through June. 

There is a two-month minimum enrollment requirement for all classes and private lessons.  Notification to withdraw from class must be received in writing by the 7th of the month in order to stop tuition payment for the following month.  To withdraw from a class or private lesson, a parent must complete, sign and submit a Withdrawal Form provided by the Metropolitan administration (withdrawals are not accepted via phone). 

No withdrawals are accepted after April 1, 2021.

Metropolitan does not offer refunds or credits for classes/lessons missed due to student absence or non-attendance, inclement weather, emergency cancellations or similar circumstances. Any production and/or textbook fees are non-refundable.

All tuition is paid by automatic monthly credit/debit card installments (EFT). Registration is confirmed upon receipt of valid credit or debit card submission. Bills will not be sent.

The authority to charge the account provided is to remain in full force until contract expires and any balance due is paid in full or Metropolitan School of the Arts has received notice of cancellation with sufficient time to act upon contract as stated above and any balance due is paid in full.  Metropolitan School of the Arts will not be liable for any special or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect, for any wrongful debit to my account.  Metropolitan School of the Arts reserves the right to cancel and terminate this agreement at any time.
